is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been recognized by the IRS as being tax-exempt by virtue of its charitable programs.

TEACHER RECIPIENT
Scholarship Awards – GCREA awards three types of scholarships each year.
● Student Scholarships – $1,500 Scholarships are awarded to selected graduating seniors attending Gwinnett County Public Schools or Buford City Schools.
● Teacher Scholarships –$1,500 Scholarships are awarded to selected teachers who are employed by Gwinnett County Public Schools or Buford City Schools and who attend accredited graduate programs to further their education.
● College Scholarships – $1,500 Scholarships are awarded to selected seniors attending Georgia Gwinnett College who are majoring in education and who are recommended by the GGC Education Department.
● In April 2025, GCREA was honored to award scholarships to three teachers, three students, and three GGC graduates!
