MEETINGS
Gwinnett County Retired Educators Association (GCREA) members convene for a luncheon meeting at Sugarloaf Country Club for an elegant meal. The meeting begins at 10AM on the 3rd Friday of the month, September through May.

Luncheon cost is $30 per person and can be paid on the day of the meeting. Payment can now be made in advance, too! Members will be emailed prior to each meeting. This serves as a reminder and an opportunity to make a reservation for the luncheon. The Telephone Committee will call those without email.

The Association is expected to pay for all reservations, so please notify the e-mail chair (Penny Clavijo) or the telephone chairman (Patricia Turner) if you have made reservations are an unable to attend. If you do not contact Penny or Patricia to cancel, you are expected to pay to reimburse GCREA.

Clean out your closets and bring any size, type or color of gently used shoes to our February or March meeting! We hope to collect 3000 pairs to support Breast Cancer patients, plus provide breast exams for men and women!

I-85 to Sugarloaf Parkway, exit toward Duluth. Stay on Sugarloaf Parkway past the Infinite Energy Center to the main entrance of Sugarloaf subdivision at Sugarloaf Country Club Drive. Stop at the gate, show a picture ID and state where you are going. Follow Sugarloaf Club Drive for 1.5 miles to clubhouse on the left.

AREA Meetings
Gwinnett County Retired Educators Association is a member of AREA 14 of the Georgia Retired Educators Association. Each August, all local units of AREA 14 meet jointly with all local units of AREA 13.
Statewide Annual Convention
Members of GCREA are urged to attend the annual convention of Georgia Retired Educators Association. The 2024 convention will be held May 7th-9th in Athens. Look for future information concerning the convention.
